new 21 Tandem Repeats CD gone to press - June 9, 2008

Since we have been crowing about this release for some time now it is important to note that yes the title was changed again at the 11th hour.

Let's just keep it a secret for a bit longer... you see it is so smart and so slick that we don't want to let some bastard beat us to the punch.

I for one am proud of the 21tr crew for making a fine audio recording. Two sticks hobbs and Willingdon Black in at Koko on the weekends when yours truly (S. Robertson) was at home juggling babies. But they got it done, and done right.

It has defiantly been an interesting year for sure... when you think about it there probably should have been a few more awards at the SRSS year 3 Gala Bash.

all in all we are probably 2 weeks away from having the new cd in our mitts. Here is a goal for me... it may seem hard ass... if i don't sell 300 by the end of the year i will NEVER press another CD. It is of course irrelevant because you don't need a CD to get your music out, but still that's the hard cap on this trip.

Gung Fat Choi... it is the Chinese New Year in 2 sleeps... lets make them good ones.

A few shows coming up. Interior Design plays Radha (730 main street) February 9 and at luggs Coffee shop (2525 main Street) on February 16... a main street tour of sorts.

Also 21 Tandem Repeats new Album will be titled "Only the Paranoid Survive"... at last count it was to be called "Mr. Greenie", but that has changed... i think being an expert in the art of paranoia is nothing to shake a stick at so we will go with that. Off topic... the album will be done shortly.

In other News our Good Friend Simian Special is set to release a CD titled "The Cougar stands it's ground" at the Roxy on February 12 at around 8PM. I have a stack of tickets so if you want a date with me now is your big chance. Simian Special is, among many things, the Simian from SUPERSIMIAN <http://cdbaby.com/cd/supersimian>

in other news CLR's trusty drummer and CD producer Two Sticks Hobbs had a baby girl the other day which gives 21 tandem repeats a total of 4 female offspring... which could make a fine band that may actually get somewhere.. just kidding. Way to go Hobbs and the lovely Lisa on bringing young Genevieve Gray Hobbs into this world.

In other news Roadbed played a show the other week:

Have a good fall and if you want to get involved with Canada Lynx records to help some good folk out let us know... we are at the Railway every Wednesday from 7:30-8:30PM

Shockk Set to Rock the Supper Show - May 31, 2007

Fans of the Super Robertson Supper Show will catch a good show next week getting to see Shockk and his Man sized project Interior Design... another fine opportunity to Purchase the new Disc "Grey".

In other news Robertson looked like Wil-e-cyote when his great idea of "Heckle night" prooved to blow up in his face... "another series of wrong calls were made by myself and, as per usual, i took a few hits and lost a little more will to do whatever the hell it is that i am doing"

NEW INTERIOR DESIGN CD 'GREY' BACK FROM PRESS - April 25, 2007

Yes indeed, good times and the highly anticipated sophomore effort from Interior Design titled "GREY" is back from press.

For $1000 Interior design will come over to your house in Canada and set up while you and your guests groove on into the night.

New Interior design CD set to go to press. - March 13, 2007

Shockk has finished and JLS has Mastered and Sim Special has put together design using some photographs of William Lee.

Canada Lynx Records will be very proud to bring you the new Interior Design CD titled "Grey", very shortly.

In other news 21 Tandem Repeats has had it's latest CD "Never wanted to be anyone" spun on CBC's DNTO, Freestyle and On the Coast radio programs.

The Supper show is going well and we are soon to celebrate our 2nd anniversary of the show.

Roger Dean Young get's more than what he bargined for - January 16, 2007

Copperspine Records Kingpin Roger Dean Young took home S Robertson's auto harp the other day after a rehearsal for a show at the Western Front on January 27th. Robertson will be playing bass for the tin cup that night... anyhoo Dean Young took home the auto harp that had a mouse nest in it and now has infested his house with mice... his beautiful wife is not impressed and young has found himself in the doghouse once again. Robertson hopes "squeaky" likes his new home in with the Young family.

Listen for an autoharp on Roger Dean Young's upcoming release...

Canada Lynx Records in negotiations - January 16, 2007

A North American Record company is enquiring about the the idea of trying to market Canada Lynx Records... CEO and Kingpin S Robertson is wary and intrigued.

"i defiantly want the music out there, and i think it would do well, but i am a little paranoid about the idea" said Robertson when probed about the concept.

Robertson then said "life is pretty good as is and creative projects are happening so if we can find common ground and a way for everybody to get what they want you never know... i just need what i need and a chance to make music and stop delivering Mail is always a chance worth considering."

Canada Lynx Records may have a sale - January 2, 2007

Canada lynx records founders S Robertson and Shockk went to town cleaning out the Sanctuary this New Year's Day... a lot of stuff, guitars, autoharps, reel to reel 4 tracks, boxes of knockin' dog merchandise, bizarre instruments and such.

What to do, and how to find proper places for everything. So that said keep your ears on alert for some upcoming fire sale. there is even a mighty fine double-neck guitar/bass combo named "the Stein", which i believe made it onto Roadbed and Mongoose recordings.

Also Happy new year to all of those out there in internet land... we expect 2007 to be another creative year, and if we can just find some sucker to update websites we could really start cooking.

Dec 16 Show - December 19, 2006

The Show featuring Interior design, Dyad and 21 Tandem repeats was a smashing success this past weekend.

A guy named Victor won the free guitar, and good times were had by all, Dyad put on a total clinic, and Interior and 21 represented Canada Lynx records with honor.

See if we can get a review of the evening up soon.

The rumor is true - December 15, 2006

Some eager beaver will win a guitar at the 21 Tandem Repeats CD Release show on Saturday December 16 at the Western Front.

Interior design is set to begin playing at 8PM, so don't be a fool and think you might want to drop by later.

The question remains How do you win? Exams are so passé... leg kicks, patented arm swinging stomp dancing? Or might it be something else like an essay question?

Lets call a Spade a Spade - December 12, 2006

Interior Design put on a full Clinic at the 2nd annual Family Stump X-Mass party.

Shockk has breathed new life into his Ambient Guitar project Interior Design. With a new CD done one could see that his great mind and hands have decided to squirt some gas on the MEGAPROGECT that is Interior Design.

thats just the truth as i saw it

Earl Parrish

Win a Guitar - December 5, 2006

Apparently Shockk, who has a new Interior Design release ready to go has a Guitar for a giveaway at the Show on the 16th (Western front).

In another hair-brained scheme to garner a crowd canada lynx records will give away one fine Guitar as a door prize for the 21 tandem repeats CD release show @ the western Front. Interior Design will be styling that show once again, and only a fool would miss the chance to absorb that CLINIC!

Red Cat records and Canada Lynx records shake paws - November 19, 2006

Red Cat Records( 4307 Main St. Vancouver, BC. (604) 708-9422), has some tickets to the 21 Tandem Repeats CD release party for sale in their store. You can also get the CD "Never wanted to be anyone" from the shelves by the official release date on December 6 2006.

Remember that Canada lynx records artist Interior Design will be setting the mood for the show at the Western front on December 16th.
